Rustam Minnikhanov met with Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service Rustam Stepanenko

Rustam Minnikhanov, the Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service, and Marat Aizatullin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, met with Rustam Stepanenko, the Rais of Tatarstan. The meeting was held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting discussed the progress of the construction of a new pre-trial detention center for 1,000 places in Kazan. Rustam Stepanenko noted the high pace of construction work. "All this is very impressive. We have moved on to commissioning for a number of facilities. Many thanks to you personally and your entire team," said the deputy director of the Federal Penitentiary Service.

The parties also discussed issues of cooperation in the field of the penal enforcement system of the Republic of Tatarstan and the social adaptation of citizens after their release.
