Alexey Frolov, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, said that the temperature of the coolant on especially cold days increased both at the CHP plants themselves and in individual heating points of residential apartment buildings. "Thanks to this, a comfortable temperature was maintained in the apartments of Tatarstan residents in December. Housing and communal services workers responded in a timely manner to changes in weather conditions, and management companies responded to residents' requests. As a result, the work on heat supply to residents of the republic was uninterrupted, despite the abnormally cold weather in mid-December," Frolov said.
Recall that the hydrometeorological center of Tatarstan twice announced a storm warning in December due to abnormal frosts. The temperature at the beginning of the months was 20 degrees below normal. On the night of December 8, in the Agryz district of the republic, the temperature dropped to -49 degrees.
