Alexey Pesoshin opened a badminton center in Alekseevsky district

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin took part in the opening of the Badminton Center as part of a working trip to Alekseevskoye village. He was accompanied by the head of the Alekseevsky district, Sergei Demidov.

 

Alexey Pesoshin stressed that this sports complex was the first facility built under the program for the development of badminton centers in cities and villages of the republic. "Today is a significant event for residents of the Alekseevsky district – the long-awaited, specialized badminton center opens. Alekseevsky district is one of the leaders in the development of this sport in the Republic," said the Head of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

 

The total area of the building is 1.5 thousand square meters. The center has a game room with 6 courts, 4 changing rooms for 16 people each, showers and bathrooms. There is also a medical room, administrative offices, a coaching room, and a room for storing sports equipment.

 

The center is designed for badminton training sessions and training camps, organization of sports competitions, as well as training of the reserve of the national badminton team of the Republic of Tatarstan. The standard capacity of the facility is 200 people per day.
