Alexey Frolov, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the improvement of public spaces and courtyards in Tatarstan today at a press conference at the Tatar-Inform news agency.
About the implementation of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" and the republican program "Our Yard", as well as planned future projects, journalists were informed by the director of the foundation "Institute for Urban Development of the Republic of Tatarstan" Nail Zinnatullina, as well as the curator of the republican program "Our Yard" Arina Petrova.
Alexey Frolov began his speech with data from previous years: in the republic, work on the transformation of public spaces has been carried out since 2015. By 2023, 398 new public spaces worth about 24 billion rubles have been equipped.
"This year, work is planned to equip 64 public spaces for a total amount of 2.35 billion rubles, including federal and regional funds. The programs are formed taking into account the opinion of citizens: last year, Tatarstan residents took part in the formation of a list of landscaping facilities, as well as in determining yards in the republic, for their implementation in 2024," Alexey Frolov noted.
It is worth noting that two objects from the cities of Kukmor and Bavly became the winners of the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements.
The heads Timur Nagumanov and Ramil Mullin told about the facilities implemented in Almetyevsk and Nizhnekamsk districts, about large–scale plans.
