The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the use of 3D technologies in construction
Today, the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the scientific and technical council of the section for the development of the construction complex and the building materials industry. The event was held by Ilshat Gimaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The topic of discussion was the use of 3D technologies in construction.
In his welcoming speech, Deputy Minister Ilshat Gimaev noted that housing construction is the main driver of the construction industry. "For the third year in a row, we exceed the bar of 3 million square meters.m. In 2024, it is planned to introduce 3 million 150 thousand square meters of housing," he said.
Along with traditional approaches to housing construction, new solutions are required today, such as the use of 3D printing technologies.
3D printing is the process of manufacturing solid three-dimensional objects based on a 3D computer model. 3D printing refers to additive manufacturing, since this technology of creating an object from a digital model is the sequential application of layers of material with a printing head, using a nozzle or another method.
Ilshat Gimaev also drew the attention of the event participants to the fact that the 3D printing industry of buildings in Russia is just beginning to develop. Work in this direction is also being carried out in our republic.
The meeting heard reports on the topics "Development of additive equipment and the possibility of its application in the construction industry", "Experience in the development and operation of working mixtures and for construction 3-D printers", "Experience in the construction of the cottage settlement "Quadrum" using the technology of construction 3-D printing", "Construction of a social and cultural center "Mellya" in the village of Malbagush of the Aznakaevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan", "ZD seal of the city. Technology of large-scale ZD construction projects".
During the meeting, topical issues related to the regulatory and technical base of 3D construction and further prospects for its use in the construction of residential and public buildings and structures were raised.
