Ilshat Gimaev held a meeting with manufacturers of reinforced concrete
The current situation in the precast concrete and ready-mixed concrete production industry, plans for 2024-2025, as well as problematic issues of manufacturers of concrete and reinforced concrete products and structures were discussed today at the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Ilshat Gimaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The event was attended by representatives of concrete and reinforced concrete manufacturers, as well as heads and employees of republican ministries and departments.
In his opening speech, Ilshat Gimaev noted that housing construction is the main driver of the construction industry. "For the third year in a row, we exceed the 3 million square meter target - in 2023, more than 3.4 million square meters of housing were commissioned, and in 2024 it is planned to introduce 3.15 million square meters," he said.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the situation on the market of reinforced concrete and ready-mixed concrete, issues of cement supplies to the Republic of Tatarstan, problems related to the operation of the railway, as well as the shortage of qualified workers in the industry.
