Tatarstan residents will take part in the formation of a comfortable urban environment

On March 15, in addition to the elections of the President of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian vote on the selection of facilities for landscaping will start within the framework of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment".

A large-scale program to renovate public spaces was launched in Tatarstan in 2015. Since 2017, parks, squares and other spaces have been landscaped within the framework of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment".

In the period from 2017 to 2023, the works covered 225 sites. The total amount of invested funds exceeded 20.9 billion rubles.

Starting in 2018, the All-Russian competition of Small Towns and Historical Settlements is being held within the framework of the federal project. For the period from 2018 to 2023, 42 Tatarstan projects in municipalities became winners. The amount of grants from the federal budget exceeded 2.9 billion rubles.

In 2023, 68 public spaces were landscaped in the amount of 2.9 billion rubles. In 2024, work is planned to equip 64 public spaces in the amount of 2.4 billion rubles.

First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Alexey Frolov called on residents of the republic to vote more actively so that as many of their favorite public spaces as possible are landscaped.

During the voting, volunteers will work in the cities of Tatarstan, who will talk about the project and help residents choose parks, squares and embankments for landscaping in the coming year.
