In Tatarstan, 33.7% more housing was built in 4 months of 2024 than a year earlier

Tatarstan took the third place in the ranking of regions in terms of construction volumes in early 2024. In January-April, the volume of housing construction in the republic amounted to 1.8 million square meters. This is 33.7% more than in the same period of 2023.

The first place in this top was taken by the Moscow region (3.6 million square meters). Moreover, input there fell by 7.4%. The second place is the Krasnodar Territory (1.9 million square meters). However, in that region, too, volumes decreased by 19.9%. The fourth place is the Leningrad Region (1.5 million square meters, +14.9%), and Dagestan is in fifth place (1.4 million square meters, an increase of almost four times).

In total, 25.4 million square meters were built in Russia in January-March. This is 20% more than in the same period of 2023.

Housing commissioning in the country in January-April 2024 amounted to 36.6 million square meters (+1.6% per year).

New projects were launched in the country for 15.5 million square meters over the same period of time (+14% per year).
