BRICS Forum on Urbanization to be held in Moscow

On June 21, a Forum on Urbanization will be held at the site of the Russia exhibition and Forum in Moscow. The event will be held within the framework of the BRICS association.

The Forum is a platform where the member countries of the association exchange best practices and opinions on the development of housing and architecture, creating a comfortable urban environment, urbanism and specialized education.

The program consists of a plenary session "Formation of sustainable strategies for the development of the urban environment", at which representatives of the states of the association will speak, where they will share best practices and their vision of creating cities and developing the construction industry

The digitalization of the industry and the IQ of cities will be discussed at the session "Smart City: a human-centered approach to urbanization". The session "Green Construction: Trends and development prospects" will discuss the global trend of sustainable urban development and energy-efficient construction.

BRICS is an interstate association of the most dynamically developing countries. Since 2024, the association includes 10 states: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia.

Recall that the BRICS Summit will be held in Kazan in October this year. These days, the BRICS Games are being held in the capital of Tatarstan.
