On July 1, 2024, a new Department of Territorial Development began work in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Changes in the structure were made in connection with the adoption on December 23, 2023 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan 131-ZRT "On the redistribution of powers between local governments of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan and state authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of urban development".
Thus, since this year, the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan has been exercising 12 powers transferred from local governments in the field of urban development.
