Main work on major repairs in Tatarstan being completed

Main types of work on major repairs of apartment houses and schools in Tatarstan in 2013 are complete, however, internal works are still being conducted at some of the objects, as well as some documents are being executed. Such data were given today at the video conference meeting held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan and chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. 

Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin reported on the implementation of a number of large-scale construction programs of Tatarstan.  As of October 10th, 2013, major repairs of apartment houses have been performed for the total amount of 4.679 billion rubles that makes 99.4% of the annual limit.  30 municipalities finished the work.  Major repairs were completed in 817 houses.  576 houses were accepted by the State Housing Inspectorate, and 241 houses are presented for the commission acceptance.

Speaking about the program of the next year, Irek Faizullin urged a number of the municipalities to finish the registering of apartment houses on the cadastral account because it is an indispensable condition for the participation of the areas in the program on major repairs in 2014.  Absence of necessary documents can serve as a cause of the refusal from financing the program on the resettlement of the failing housing stock.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that this is not the Republic’s authorities’ requirement, but that of the federal Fund Assisting the Restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities. “Therefore, the request to you is to submit all necessary documents”, addressed the President to the heads of the municipalities. According to the program of major repairs of schools, all 160 comprehensive schools and 7 special schools included in the program of 2013, have been mostly repaired. At the same time, there is some delay in submitting the statements following the results of the repairs of the schools. All the necessary documents are prepared less than in 30 percent of the repaired schools. “If documentation has not been handed over, don't include it in the program of the next year. Money can be sent to other areas”, said Rustam Minnikhanov on addressing to Irek Faizullin. According to Irek Faizullin, the program of the next year is being coordinated. It is supposed to repair 160 schools, including 152 municipal ones and 8 special ones. Other Republic’s programs are at a coordination stage, or at an exit stage.
