Marat Aizatullin spoke about the degree of readiness of BRICS facilities in Kazan

In Kazan, for the summit of the heads of BRICS states, which will be held from September 22 to 24, a large amount of work is being carried out on the construction of new facilities and landscaping.

 

Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services Marat Aizatullin said that by the beginning of a large-scale international event in Kazan, the construction of a new building of the Tatar Drama Theater named after G. Kamal on the shore of Kaban Lake and the development of a park on the adjacent territory will be completed. He called the object a landmark for the city.

Another large-scale project is a children's park on the banks of the Kazanka River, which will be the largest park for young citizens and guests of the capital.  The performance of construction and installation works is 89%. The opening of the park is scheduled for August 30 – the Day of the Republic and the City of Kazan.

Now the park is completing the introduction of fertile soil, installation of mortgages for lighting, installation of power supply cables, monolithic work for paving stones, installation of small architectural forms, pavilion roofs, and the formation of hills. In addition, trees are being planted in the park, lawn and paving stones are being laid, an automatic irrigation system is being equipped, and finishing works are underway in the pavilion.

The hospitality industry will be replenished by the BRICS summit with 8 apartment hotels located near the Millennium Bridge. Their construction is in the final stage. Next to them, on the banks of the Kazanka River, the construction of the first two towers of the hotel complex is underway.
