Within the framework of the forum "Development of small towns and historical settlements" in Kaluga, the results of the All-Russian IX competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment were summed up."
The winners were the cities of Chistopol, Innopolis, Agryz, Arsk, Mendeleevsk, Zelenodolsk and the village of Sviyazhsk. The amount of the federal grant for the implementation of projects amounted to 579.6 million rubles. The updated public spaces will appear in the republic already in 2025-2026.
Since 2018, 42 public spaces have become winners from the republic, 40 of which have already been implemented. The total amount of all grants from the federal budget amounted to more than 2.9 billion rubles, and taking into account the victory, this amount increased to almost 3.5 billion rubles.
The All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment is held within the framework of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment". The competition supports projects to create attractive urban spaces that improve the quality of life, attract visitors to the city and develop the service industry. It involves small towns with a population of up to 200 thousand people and historical settlements of federal and regional significance.
