The event is being held by Glavgosexpertiza of Russia with the support of the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, as well as the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The opening of the conference was attended by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mikhailik, Head of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia Igor Manylov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.
Welcoming the participants of the event, he said that the construction industry of Tatarstan unites thousands of professionals – representatives of various specialties.
"In 2023, a record 3.4 million square meters of housing were built in the republic. We plan to achieve similar results this year," Alexey Pesoshin said. - Over 2.5 million square meters of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan in 8 months, and according to these data, Tatarstan occupies the third position in Russia and the first in the Volga Federal District. In the first half of 2024, the turnover of the Tatarstan construction industry increased by 25% compared to the same period last year. The share of the construction complex accounts for 7% of the gross regional product of the republic."
These results are based on the daily work of professionals in their field, Alexey Pesoshin stressed.
He recalled that significant events are taking place in the republic this year – the International Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World", the Games of the Future, the sports games of the BRICS countries, the International Conference of Expert Organizations, and the BRICS summit with the participation of top officials is expected to be held in October.
"The level of events being held sets the pace of development for the entire construction complex. And the role of expertise in this matter is significant. Dear experts, you control the quality of project execution, compliance with legislative requirements and safety, minimize all kinds of risks, take unique technical solutions that significantly reduce the estimated cost of facilities, saving budget funds," the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan said, addressing the experts. "Thanks to the work of professionals from the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia and our republican expertise - the State Expertise of Tatarstan – every construction facility in Tatarstan meets the highest requirements."
Alexey Pesoshin said that today the State Expertise of Tatarstan occupies the third place among the state examinations of Russia in terms of the number of issued conclusions.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, he wished the conference participants fruitful work, implementation of the planned plans and new successes for the benefit of the development of the Institute of construction Expertise.

It should be recalled that the main vectors of the business program of the VIII International Conference were the strategic priorities for the development of the Institute of Construction Expertise and their role in improving national construction complexes; the effective customer model and best practices in managing cost, timing, and quality of projects; digital construction management and new tools for working with expertise data at all stages of the life cycle of facilities.
Foreign participants are represented by expert bodies of the CIS countries, including delegations from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and, for the first time, Azerbaijan. Representatives of construction complexes and expert organizations of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan joined the conference via videoconference.
