JSC Stroytech had 74.9% of shares of JSC Chistopol-Vodokanal, and was also the owner of water supply and sanitation facilities (water intakes, water pumping stations, wells, sewage pumping stations, water supply and sanitation networks) in Chistopol.
Currently, the water supply and sanitation facilities in Chistopol are characterized by a high degree of wear. This was accompanied by an increase in the number of network failures.
Due to the lack of financial resources necessary for their modernization and reconstruction, Stroytech JSC was offered to transfer water supply and sanitation facilities, as well as shares of Chistopol-Vodokanal JSC, to state or municipal ownership.
Following the negotiations, in order to ensure water supply and sanitation activities in the territory of the Chistopol municipal district, 100% of the shares of JSC Stroytech were acquired by JSC RPO Tatkommunenergo, 100% of which belong to the Republic of Tatarstan. On September 2, 2024, the shares of Stroytech JSC were transferred in favor of RPO Tatkommunenergo JSC.
Currently, JSC RPO Tatkommunenergo is preparing a plan of priority measures in order to bring the water supply and sanitation facilities of Chistopol into a regulatory state.
Within the framework of the Regional Program for the modernization of municipal infrastructure systems in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023-2027, the event "Reconstruction of engineering networks of water supply and sanitation in the historical central part of the city of Chistopol of the Chistopol municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan" is already being implemented for a total amount of 227 million rubles. Additionally, the allocation of 42 million rubles from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan was agreed to connect subscribers.
