Work on the further restoration of the monastery complex is carried out within the framework of the execution of the list of instructions of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan. In March 2024, preparatory work and design began at the facility. To date, work has been carried out on the inspection of structures and foundations, late structures have been dismantled, archival research has been carried out, security items have been developed and approved, and projects of priority emergency measures have been developed.

In accordance with the initiative of the Kazan Diocese, the priority object of the complex is the building of the Church of St. Nicholas of Tula. The third floor of this building, consisting of silicate bricks, is planned to be dismantled to the historical level, which has retained its strength. Also today, preparations are underway to open the basements under the Abbot's building.

Then the head of the republic got acquainted with the progress of repair and restoration work of the Temple-monument to fallen soldiers, built in 1823. The monument is a 20-meter high rectangular truncated pyramid raised on a high pedestal. Repairs have been carried out here over the years. This year, a large-scale restoration of the temple has started, which should be completed in 2026. In addition, comprehensive landscaping with appropriate infrastructure is planned - pedestrian paths, sanitary facilities, as well as a berth for river trams should appear here.

Then Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Iske Tash mosque built in 1802. Repair and restoration work started in 2023 and was completed in August 2024. The restaurant was run at the expense of federal funds within the framework of the Historical Memory project. The concept of further development of the adjacent territory was presented to the Rais of Tatarstan.

In conclusion, Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the restored Al-Marjani Mosque. It was built in the second half of the 18th century. It is one of the first stone mosques built in the capital of Tatarstan. As part of the emergency measures, all structures were reinforced, including repair of cracks in the arches and facades of the mosque, reinforcement of the minaret and repair of the roof. Ventilation, heating, and air conditioning systems have been replaced, and the water supply and power supply networks have been updated. Restorers restored the facades to their historical appearance in the Baroque style, restored the decor, windows and decorative metal products.

Following the results of the inspection by the head of the republic of the Al-Marjani mosque in August this year, instructions were given to complete repair and restoration work, in particular, on interior decoration, arrangement of underfloor heating in ablution rooms, landscaping, as well as the organization of museum space. Currently, the restoration has been completed in full.
