32.8 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of the national project "Housing and Urban environment" in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2024.

In 2019-2024, 32.8 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment" in Tatarstan. 352 facilities were built and reconstructed, and 648 emergency rooms were resettled (an additional 17 rooms are planned to be resettled by the end of 2024).

Within the framework of the federal Housing project, 55 engineering and road infrastructure facilities, as well as social facilities, were built for a total amount of 18 billion rubles. This year, the construction of 4 engineering infrastructure facilities has been completed.

In 2019-2023, 6 water supply facilities totaling 1.5 billion rubles were built in the republic as part of the Clean Water federal project. As a result, the share of the population provided with high-quality drinking water from centralized water supply systems has increased by 2.8% since 2019 to 95.64%. Among the urban population, the increase was 2.6% to 98.78%.

From 2019 to 2024, 291 public spaces worth a total of 11.9 billion rubles were equipped in Tatarstan as part of the federal project "Creating a comfortable urban environment".  Of these, 249 facilities worth 9.1 billion rubles were improved within the framework of the federal program "Creating a comfortable urban environment". 42 more were awarded as part of the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements: the amount of funding amounted to 2.8 billion rubles. The work has been completed this year.

Within the framework of the federal project "Ensuring sustainable reduction of uninhabitable housing stock" in 2023, the implementation of the Republican Targeted Program for the resettlement of citizens from dilapidated housing stock was completed, according to which multi-apartment dilapidated houses, recognized as such before January 1, 2017, were subject to resettlement. 85 apartment buildings were resettled on 648 premises with a total area of about 20 thousand square meters, where 1.8 thousand people lived. The program covered houses located in 12 municipalities (Agryzsky, Aktanyshsky, Arsky, Baltasinsky, Yelabuga, Zelenodolsky, Kukmorsky, Laishevsky, Menzelinsky, Sabinsky, Chistopolsky districts and Kazan). The total amount of funding for the program amounted to 1.1 billion rubles.

This year, at the expense of the unspent balance of funds under the program for 2019-2023, a new republican targeted program for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing stock for 2024 was formed, according to which multi-apartment emergency houses, recognized as such after

January 1, 2017.

This year, it is planned to accommodate 60 people from 17 premises with a total area of 574.7 square meters located in Kazan. The amount of financing amounted to 73.4 million rubles. It is planned to complete the resettlement of citizens from emergency homes by December 31, 2024.
