In the Republic of Tatarstan, over 228 billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of national projects over 6 years. This was stated at a briefing at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

The briefing was dedicated to the implementation of national projects in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the period from 2019 to 2024, about 228 billion rubles were allocated to national projects in the Republic of Tatarstan, of which 160 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget, and more than 68 billion rubles came from the republic's budget.

At the briefing, Midhat Shagiakhmetov outlined the main achievements for 2019-2024.

Significant work has been completed on the improvement of 353 parks and squares in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the field of education and culture, 87 new educational institutions and 27 schools have been built, where more than 25 thousand children study.

Projects for the construction and renovation of more than 70 cultural facilities, including theaters, museums and libraries, have been implemented.

In the field of healthcare, about 400 facilities have been built and modernized, including the Center for Pediatric Oncology in Kazan. Modern medical equipment has been purchased and geriatric centers have been opened.

Since January 2025, new national projects have been launched in the Republic of Tatarstan aimed at continuing the positive dynamics in the socio-economic development of the region. It is planned to allocate 160 billion rubles for the implementation of national projects over the next three years.

In total, the allocated funds will be used to build and overhaul 375 capital construction and road facilities. In the education and social sphere, it is planned to build two schools with 1,224 places in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny and overhaul 14 educational facilities. It is expected to open a Youth center and four kindergartens, with major repairs.

In healthcare, it is planned to build and modernize 189 healthcare facilities, including medical and obstetric centers, hospitals and polyclinics.

In addition, it is planned to improve 51 public spaces, including parks and squares; to complete the reclamation of silt fields of biological treatment facilities in Kazan.

 All these initiatives are aimed at creating a comfortable and safe living environment, improving transport infrastructure, supporting families and improving the health of citizens. The Republic of Tatarstan remains one of the leading regions in implementing national projects in Russia, striving to create favorable conditions for both residents and businesses.
