Marat Aizatullin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the results of work in the field of urban development today at a meeting of the board of the department.
Thus, by the end of 2024, the Ministry received 24,846 applications within the framework of the transferred urban planning powers, which is 40% more than in 2023.
Marat Aizatullin recalled that starting from January 1, 2024, the Ministry of Construction transferred 12 powers of municipalities in this area to form a unified urban planning policy in the republic. Currently, 6 of them are public services.
In urban planning, the main document determining the future is a comprehensive scheme of socio-economic and spatial development of three agglomerations (Kazan, Kamskaya and Almanyevskaya).
For the Kazan agglomeration, preparations are underway for its approval based on the results of the developed Master Plan in 2024. The developed materials are already being used in the preparation of individual industry documents and decisions.
For the Kama agglomeration, the development of an integrated scheme is at the final stage and is scheduled for approval in the first quarter of 2025.
According to the Almetyevsk agglomeration, this work is planned to be completed in 2025. Currently, initial data collection has begun, with requests sent to municipal districts and large industrial enterprises.
"This year, work will continue on sustainable urban development, the formation of a unified policy in the implementation of territorial planning, urban zoning and construction on the territory of the republic as a whole," the minister stressed.
