It has become one of the drivers of the country's development. Today, more than 11 million people are employed in the construction and related industries. Since 2020, the volume of construction work has increased by more than 30%. The pace is good. To achieve the national goal, by 2030 it is necessary to build about 663 million square meters per year - at least 100 million km. m. We already reached this level a couple of years ago, and it will need to be maintained. As a result, a third of all housing should be new by 2036. I can say that this is an ambitious task not only for our country, but for the whole world - few countries have managed to achieve this. At the same time, we already have good results – over the past 6 years we have renovated about 600 million square meters. m."
