The annual All-Russian vote on the selection of facilities for landscaping in the coming year within the framework of the federal project "Creating a comfortable urban environment" is starting in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Various facilities will be presented at the voting in each municipal district and urban district of the Republic of Tatarstan, from which residents will be able to choose parks, squares, embankments and courtyards for inclusion in the "Our Yard" program for 2025.
Every citizen from the age of 14 can take part in voting. More than 600 volunteers will tell Tatarstan residents about the project. They can be recognized by their branded uniforms, they distribute flyers with QR codes and help citizens vote for desired objects. Volunteer activities are implemented in the republic within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children".
The volunteer program is operated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the Autonomous Non-Governmental Organization "Information and Resource Center for Volunteerism of the Republic of Tatarstan".
"Every year, volunteers help residents of the Republic of Tatarstan choose landscaping facilities. This is a responsible task when it is necessary to correctly and correctly convey information in order to attract as many citizens as possible to the project. All the volunteers who take part in the project are properly trained and have the necessary skills to work," said Airat Mubarakshin, Executive Director of the Information and Resource Center for Volunteerism of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In total, volunteers in the Republic of Tatarstan will work at 25 locations in Kazan, Aznakaevo, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Zelenodolsk, Bugulma, Yelabuga, Leninogorsk, Chistopol, Zainsk, Nurlat, Mendeleevsk, Bavly and Arsk.
"This is not the first time I have participated in a project as a volunteer. Residents of the republic are studying what to vote for and what changes they would like to see in the future. I enjoyed helping the older generation, who often find it difficult to vote for various reasons. We need as many residents of our country as possible to participate in the voting, as the appearance of our cities will depend on their choice," said Roman Sergeev, a volunteer from Nizhnekamsk district.
