678 courtyards will be landscaped in Tatarstan this year
As of today, the implementation of road construction and lighting installation within the framework of the "Our Yard" program has reached 25% of the total planned volume. Road works have been completed in 41 yards in full, and are continuing in 237 yards in 15 municipalities. The installation of outdoor lighting has been completed in 70 yards, and continues in 248 yards of 14 municipalities. A total of 678 courtyards will be landscaped this year. 43% of finished products (children's and sports equipment, outdoor items) are stored in the republic's warehouses. The plan is to fill the warehouses by July 1. The equipment is being installed in 31 courtyards of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk district. The total completion is 2%.
One of the main tasks is the work of residents, who complain in their appeals about the inconveniences caused by the repair. Therefore, it is necessary to inform in advance about temporary shutdowns of outdoor lighting, etc. Nizhnekamsk district is doing good work in this direction.
It should be recalled that the "Our Yard" program was initiated by the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, in 2020. As part of the program, 2,278 yards in Kazan have already been landscaped, improving the living conditions for half a million citizens. Over the five years of implementation, over 3 million square meters of courtyard driveways have been repaired, about 25 thousand additional parking spaces have been created, more than 12 thousand new lighting poles with LED lights and over 21 thousand small architectural forms have been installed.
