The staff of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan expresses its condolences in connection with the untimely death of Almaz Akhmetshin

The staff of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan expresses its deep condolences to the family and friends in connection with the untimely death of Almaz Salimovich Akhmetshin, former Deputy Minister (2010-2016).

Almaz Salimovich's career was full of significant achievements and went through all stages of career growth – from a master builder in the October inter-farm construction organization to Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan. He worked in this position from 2011 to 2016, making a significant contribution to the development of the industry.

Over the years, Almaz Salimovich has proved himself to be an energetic and strong-willed person, a competent specialist, a skilled leader and a true professional in his field.

Throughout his career, he had to solve large-scale and historical tasks in the field of construction. With his direct participation, a significant number of healthcare, education, cultural, sports, residential and administrative buildings were built and put into operation. The Belekech-Malysh republican program has been successfully implemented: from 2011 to 2014, over 12 thousand places in kindergartens were created. Thanks to the implementation of the healthcare modernization program of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011-2014, with the participation of Almaz Salimovich, medical institutions have been brought up to standard and retrofitted according to modern technological requirements (about 300 have been built and over 900 paramedic and obstetric centers have been overhauled), including such important facilities of national importance as the Republican Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, State Educational Institution "Children's Republican Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan" in Kazan, etc. Facilities such as the Republican Blood Center, the BSMP on the territory of GKB No. 7 have been built, and GKB No. 7 has been reconstructed.

Such business and human qualities as a high sense of responsibility for business, attentive and sensitive attitude to people have earned him well-deserved authority and recognition.
