According to the national project "Family", 516 million rubles have been additionally allocated for the construction of the Zelenodolsk Care Home this year

Construction of a Care Home continues in Zelenodolsk, 58% of the work has been completed. This was informed by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.

This facility is a transitional one – its construction with a budget of 333 million rubles began in 2024.

Marat Aizatullin said that in 2025, a boarding school for the elderly and disabled in Zelenodolsk was included in the federal program "The Older Generation" of the national Family project. More than 516 million rubles have been additionally allocated for this, including over 108 million from the national budget.

The two-storey building of the boarding school is designed for 120 beds, its total area, together with the basement, is 8,620 square meters. All conditions for comfortable accommodation and treatment of guests will be created here. In particular, three- and double rooms with dressing rooms and bathrooms, doctor's and psychologist's offices, a treatment room, a physical therapy room and a massage room have been designed. There are also facilities for a buffet, a dining room, a prayer room, an assembly hall for 45 people with an art room and a pantry for decorations, a library, a leisure room, a hairdresser and others.

The builders have already completed the bricklaying of the 1st and 2nd floors, facade and roof installation, and floor screed. The windows are fully installed, a diesel generator set and a modular boiler room have appeared.

Heating mains and storm sewers are nearing completion.

Specialists continue to install internal engineering networks. In particular, water supply has been completed by 60%, sewerage by 72%, heating by 70% and electricity supply by 63%

As part of the construction, furniture, equipment and inventory will be purchased for the Care Home. Landscaping is also planned.

Recall that one of the priorities of the national project "Family" is to combine measures to support and prolong the active longevity of older people.
