2,061 million square meters of housing, or 85.9 % of the annual amount, commissioned in Tatarstan

As of November 14th, 2013, two million and sixty-one square meters of housing (85.9 % of the annual amount), which is 107.5 % compared to the last year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan. This was announced today by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Farid Khanifov at a video conference meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting with all the municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan was held by President Rustam Minnikhanov.

As noted by Farid Khanifov, the program of 2013 ( in the amount of 2.398 million square meters) implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan will improve the rate of new housing per capita compared to the previous year, and this figure will be 24.5 square meters.

The plan for new housing has been completed entirely in 18municipalities, and the work completion is more than 90 % in 9 municipalities.

As for the social mortgage program in Tatarstan, of 383.3 thousand square meters there were commissioned 261.7 thousand square meters of housing that is 68.3 % of the plan.  121.6 thousand square meters are to be commissioned by the end of the year.

As part of the program to resettle people from the failing housing stock, following the results of 2013, it is expected to resettle 12.3 million people from 713 houses. The amount of the funds for this program in 2013 was 4.2 billion rubles. As for the program in 2014, it is expected to resettle 529 houses, i.e. 9,464 thousand citizens. The Republic continues to build housing for local police officers under the Integrated Program of crime prevention in Tatarstan for 2011-2014. At present, out of 82 houses the construction of 60 thereof has been completed, and the work has been arranged at 21 sites. Generally, 25 municipalities have completed the program on the construction of service housing for local police officers.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the issue should be given special attention. We underestimate the work of local police officers, he said, and it is, above all, ensuring peace and stability in the areas in the whole Republic. First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Farid Khanifov also reported on the construction program of multi-purpose sports fields in the municipal areas (155 sports fields). Thus, the construction and installation work has been completed at 61 sports fields in 23 municipalities, including 12 municipal areas which completed the program; the work has been arranged at 94 sites.

In 2014, it is planned to build 70 sports fields in the municipal areas.

The program on the housing provision for orphans in 2013, they purchased 121 apartments for the amount of 120 million rubles. Until the end of 2013, there will be purchased 144 facilities 265 orphans will get housing in 2013. It is assumed that in 2014, housing will be provided for 294 orphans.

According to the program to improve the living conditions of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, the Republic continues to build 57 houses for 249 veterans. According to the latest data, the living conditions of 17,274 veterans were improved. The remaining veterans (about a thousand people) 407 people were provided with subsidies, as reported by Farid Khanifov.

According to the program of housing provision for large families, 44 housing certificates were issued in 2013, of which 39 certificates have already been implemented. Farid Khanifov said that in general, 822 large families in the Republic may claim to participate in this program.

Rustam Minnikhanov was also reported on the implementation of the program for the elimination of priority in kindergartens and the construction of children's pre-school institutions. Tatarstan President instructed to organize trips to areas falling behind the schedule of the construction of kindergartens, and to hold meetings with the heads of the municipalities and management of contractors.
