The reconstruction of the water pipeline will ensure uninterrupted supply of drinking water to more than 68,000 residents of the Leninogorsk district.
Reconstruction of the water pipeline continues in Leninogorsk under the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
The Leninogorsk water supply network with a total length of 30.5 km was commissioned in the 1990s and required major renovation due to its high deterioration.
The reconstruction facility is scheduled for 2026-2027. 7.5 km of the water supply network is planned to be laid this year, 253 million 755 thousand rubles have been allocated for reconstruction. The main functional purpose of the projected facility is the uninterrupted provision of household drinking water and fire-fighting water supply to 68,000 residents of Leninogorsk and 8 rural settlements of the district.
According to the State Institution "Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan", by now the builders have developed 4.4 km of soil and laid more than a kilometer of pipes. Construction and installation works are on schedule, they are scheduled to be completed by August 30. The overall completion rate reached 42%.
The Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, reported on the high wear of communal networks in Tatarstan at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. He noted that the length of utility networks in the republic is about 27 thousand kilometers, a third of which needs to be replaced.
"To solve this problem, a federal program for the modernization of municipal infrastructure has been adopted, which is now part of the new national project Infrastructure for Life. In 2025, 3 billion 200 million rubles are provided for the implementation of 36 facilities, including 1.5 billion rubles from the republican budget," said the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Marat Aizatullin also recalled that this year, at the initiative of the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, an additional republican program was launched with funding of 8.5 billion rubles. "It includes 100 objects. Thus, within the framework of these programs, reconstruction and modernization of 136 engineering infrastructure facilities in 45 municipalities is planned this year. The costs will amount to 11 billion 700 million rubles," the minister said.
As a result, it is planned to replace 388 km of engineering networks, 25 water towers, 15 sewage pumping stations, two biological treatment plants and 7 boiler houses.
