Today, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting on bringing elevator equipment into compliance with technical requirements and ensuring safe operation of elevators installed in apartment buildings in Tatarstan.
Sergey Kolunov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services, Ilya Wolfson, State Duma Deputy, Andrey Egorov, Chairman of the State Council Committee on Housing Policy and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Tatarstan, and representatives of the republic's management companies took part in the discussion.
Opening the meeting, First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan Damir Shaidullin stressed that Tatarstan pays special attention to ensuring the safe operation of elevator equipment in apartment buildings.
"Tatarstan is taking active and systematic measures to comply with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "Elevator Safety" (TR CU 011/2011). We have approved and are implementing a comprehensive Action Plan for the period up to 2030. With the support of the Rais of the Republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, we are seriously working to synchronize the regional capital repair program with the tasks of replacing elevators, we are looking for effective financial support mechanisms, including co-financing from the national budget, and we are improving the regulatory framework," D.Shaidullin said.
At the same time, he noted that the scale of the tasks requires consolidation of efforts at all levels of government, as well as the active participation of the professional community. And here, according to the First Deputy Minister, the initiatives included in the draft federal law are of particular importance, which are aimed at systemic reform of the industry, from setting clear requirements for specialized organizations to introducing modern standards for elevator equipment.
Sergey Kolunov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services, Deputy Head of the Working Group on Solving Elevator Issues and improving the efficiency of elevator replacement in the housing stock, highlighted a number of main points in his speech. In particular, according to S.Kolunov, it is necessary to return the authority to control and accept elevators to Rostechnadzor, install cameras in elevator cabins, unify elevator shafts in new buildings, digitalize and dispatch the industry.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the most pressing issues of elevator maintenance and shared successful practices. Agreed solutions were also developed to accelerate the pace of replacement of the elevator fleet, ensuring its safe and uninterrupted operation.
