The program on major repairs for 2014 developed in Tatarstan in the amount of 4 thousand and 709 billion rubles.

The work on major repairs of apartment houses has been completed for 4.78 billion rubles. The work has been done in 840 out of 841 apartment house included in the program for 2013.

This was announced today by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin at the Republic’s meeting held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The video conference meeting with all the municipalities was chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.

The plan to raise funds from the population for the program on major repairs was implemented by 100% in 28 municipalities, and in 17 – by more than 90 %.

As recalled by Irek Faizullin, the program on major repairs in 2014 had been developed at the level of 2013, in the amount of 4.709 billion rubles, including the financing made by the Fund Assisting the Restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities in the amount of 194 million rubles, the funds allocated from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan, in the amount of 1.37 billion rubles, and funds from the local budgets in the amount of 1.07 billion rubles.

The Head of the Ministry of Construction drew attention to the fact that in a number of municipalities the percentage of the submission of the information on cadastral registration of apartment houses is below the national average level (these are Bugulminsky, Almetyevsky, Menzelinsky areas, Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan). Totally in Tatarstan, 15 thousand and 667 apartment houses are to be registered (of which 13 thousand and 239 apartment houses have already been registered).

Currently, the main types of major repairs were completed in all 160 secondary schools and 7 special schools, as reported by the Minister of Construction. Additional works being carried out thanks to the savings are also being completed.  There are some problems with Tetyushskaya special school, where the volume of the completed work is about 50%, as reported by Irek Faizullin. It is mainly due to the workload of the contractor.

The program on major repairs of schools in 2014 included 151 secondary and eight special schools. The funding will amount to 2.55 billion rubles.

In the framework of the provision of the schools with warm sanitary units, as of November 22d, 2013, among 248 schools the work has been completed at 66 sites; 10 sites (Sarmanovsky area) there is no need of the work as it is planned to change the limits; the work continues at the remaining 190 objects. The limit of the funding for these activities is 175 million rubles. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that it had been planned to complete all the work in 2013, and requested the heads of the areas to pay serious attention to the provision of the schools with warm sanitary units.

Irek Faizullin reported that under program “Pure Water” for 2014, it is planned to construct 210 km of water networks, to drill 24 artesian wells and install 19 water towers.

The program on the installation of double-pressure boilers for 2013 has been also implemented; 4009 apartments have been connected to the individual heating system. 5332 apartments are to be connected to the individual heating system in 2014. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov said that the program would be implemented only in those areas where the heating scheme had already been finished and approved.

As for the program to improve street lighting in rural areas, in 2014 it is expected to be implemented in 45 municipalities at 686 sites.

In 2014, Tatarstan will start implementing the program on the repair of boiler heating at social facilities. According to Irek Faizullin, the program will include 598 objects, 876 boilers are to be replaced. The funding for the program will amount to 82.6 million rubles.
