Issues of a long-term Republic’s target program on major repairs of apartment houses discussed in the Ministry of Construction

Today, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with representatives of municipalities on the development of a long-term Republic’s target program on major repairs of apartment houses.

In accordance with the applicable law, a program on major repairs of all the apartment buildings within the entity must be developed by January 1st, 2014.  The program will not include the houses recognized to be failing. The program will be developed for a 30-year period. Following the approval of the program, all the owners of premises in apartment houses will have to decide on the method of forming the fund for major repairs.
