In Almetyevsk, the 1st part of the reconstruction of the steel main water pipeline has been completed. New water pipes have been laid on the section from the 4th water lift to the chamber of the Almetyevsk Building Materials Plant with a length of 1.28 km. The work was carried out under the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
Due to the transfer of part of the 2026 limit to 2025, which is more than 71.8 million rubles, the builders have begun the second stage of reconstruction of the 1.17 km long water pipeline. According to the GUIS of the Republic of Tatarstan, 0.85 km of networks have already been laid.
The continuation of the reconstruction was made possible by the signing of an additional agreement between the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation and the Government of Tatarstan on the allocation of additional federal budget funds to the republic for the implementation of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". The amount of financing is 519.6 million rubles.
The steel main water pipeline was put into operation in 1982, and by the beginning of reconstruction, its wear exceeded 80%. The modernization of the facility will improve the quality of public services for more than 70,000 residents of Almetyevsk.
In addition to the steel main water pipeline, three more facilities are included in the program of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" this year. This is a gravity sewer collector from the street.Gatina-Hospital to sewage pumping station No. 2, pressure sewer collector and water pipeline along Aminov Street.
Recall that in his Message to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2026, Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that one of the most serious and capital–intensive tasks for the next 5 years is the implementation of the republican program for the modernization of housing and communal infrastructure facilities. "Our goal is to ensure sustainable advanced network repairs, a multiple reduction in accidents and network losses," said the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan.
