The Kazan group of companies RGK has launched a new innovative production of a profile made of non-plasticized polyvinyl chloride (NPVC). This profile is used to restore worn sections of gravity sewer networks using innovative and efficient trenchless spiral-wound technology.
The uniqueness of the new method lies in the fact that it allows to repair communications in a short time and without shutting off the sewer flow, opening only the collapsed section of the road. The elimination of the problem will take only a month and less than 250 million rubles. According to the traditional method, it is necessary to open the asphalt pavement, dig out worn pipes, remove soil, lay new communications, etc. It would take at least 8 months and more than 350 million rubles.
As the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, noted yesterday at a meeting of the final board of the department, the construction industry cannot develop without having a self-sufficient base in the form of the building materials industry. In the republic, it is one of the largest in Russia. In 2025, more than 400 enterprises in the industry produced products worth 52 billion rubles.
It should be recalled that the renovation of all related social and communal infrastructure is one of the goals of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". In Tatarstan, 4.73 billion rubles were allocated for its implementation in 2025. 47 facilities in 11 municipalities have been upgraded with these funds, and 135 km of utility networks have been replaced.
