On June 13, it was reported at a meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House that the works under the programme of capital repair of multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan in 2014 have been competed by more than 50 per cent.
Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin, who took part in the meeting, said that the capital repair has been started at 792 of 793 houses, which were included in the programme of 2014. As of June 11, the State Housing Inspection has accepted completion certificates totalling to 2.46 billion roubles, or 52.59 per cent, with the total programme funding making 4.68 billion roubles.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, in his turn, called on the State Housing Inspection to closely monitor the execution of capital repair works and heads of municipalities to provide reliable data.
Irek Faizullin continued that the capital repair of schools has been started in all 159 schools, which were listed in the programme of 2014. With 67 per cent of the programme funding spent, the capital repair of eight schools has been completed.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded the heads of municipalities of the need to participate in the capital repair of educational institutions. "We are financing only certain kinds of works and municipalities should attract additional funds for capital repairs of schools," Tatarstan President said.
