The concept of agglomeration development of the Republic.

The Ministry of construction, architecture and housing and communal services held an event devoted to the development of agglomerations in the framework of the project site, space, infrastructure, real capital, established in the framework of the "Strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan up to 2030". Deputy Minister of construction, architecture and housing and utilities RT - chief architect RT Kudryashev Vladimir Nikolaevich held the meeting.  

In discussions it was noted the lack of legal justification agglomerations as territorial structures. Particular attention was paid to the assessment of transport corridors. Participants agreed that speaking about the agglomerations, we are talking about engines that generate creative ideas and entrepreneurship. The connection between them should be provided with high quality transport links.

In the framework of the round table “The concept of spatial development of the Kazan agglomeration” the experts were asked to look at the future of the capital and its surroundings. It was decided that the strategy should take into account and provide mechanisms for the implementation of major infrastructure projects, which will be the flagship and will ensure the development of Kazan agglomeration. Discussed variants of the HSR in the Kazan region and the construction of a bridge that will connect the ring road around the city. 

The experts agreed that “the search agglomerations”, the definition of its frontiers and prospects of development should be conducted with consideration of management and budget realities.
