onstruction and installation works under the program of modernization of municipal infrastructure in the Republic of Tatarstan have been completed by 65%. This was announced by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"The problem of the state of engineering networks is acute throughout the country and last year the President of Russia launched a program to modernize public infrastructure systems. The main goal of the program is to reduce accidents, upgrade engineering networks, as well as improve the quality of public services," said Marat Aizatullin.
According to the minister, the program has been approved for 2 years and provides for the implementation of 67 events totaling 4.7 billion rubles. The Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as resource supply organizations of JSC Tatenergo, JSC Kazenergo and Municipal Unitary Enterprise Vodokanal act as the customer of the work.
10 municipalities are involved in the implementation of the program. These are Agryzsky, Zainsky, Zelenodolsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Laishevsky, Nizhnekamsk, Sarmanovsky, Chistopolsky districts, as well as the cities of Naberezhnye Chelny and Kazan.
In just 2 years, it is planned to complete the construction and reconstruction of engineering networks with a total length of 124.7 km, of which almost 63 km are heat supply networks, 42.6 km are water pipelines and 19.2 km are sewerage networks.
"Last year, work was carried out at 19 facilities, more than 37 km of engineering networks were repaired. The current year's limit is 2 billion 811 million rubles. In total, it is planned to reconstruct 87.3 km of networks at 48 sites. To date, the total volume of construction and installation works is 65%," said the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Rim Galiakhmetov, Deputy General Director for Strategic Development of Tatenergo JSC, Fanis Nurmukhametov, General Director of Kazenergo JSC, and Marat Salakhov, First Deputy General Director of Vodokanal Municipal Unitary Enterprise, also made information at the briefing.
