Ministry of construction discussed the possibility of realization of the project “Smart and safe city Kazan”

Today RT Ministry of construction held a meeting with Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin and  the delegation of CISCO, headed by Vice-President of the Vimo  Eltringham. During the meeting it was discussed the proposals at CISCO implementation of energy saving technologies in the Republic of Tatarstan.  In the framework of implementation of the main directions of the strategic cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Cisco Systems it was discussed  implementation of the project “Smart City Kazan”. 

 

 

- construction of telecommunication environment (backbone and wireless access), which will ensure the rapid development of innovative projects and businesses;

 

- introduction of energy saving technologies for social infrastructure, business and housing, which will reduce costs to consumers on the energy loss;

 

- providing guests and residents of the capital of the free WiFi access to the advertising, entertainment, sports, educational electronic services and public services that will allow to maintain the image of Tatarstan as the most comfortable and attractive region of the country.
