In 2014 the number of accidents in the construction industry of the Republic of Tatarstan has decreased compared to the previous year.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, according to the operative data of the State labour inspection in the Republic it is occured 57 accidents. Irek Faizullin informed about it in the meeting in the RT Goverment House. As explained Irek Faizullin 20 accidents with deaths, 37 cases with severe consequences. While 43 accidents (or 75%) occurred on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, 14 (25%) - outside the Republic.

According to Irek Faizullin, 57 accidents attributed to the construction industry, 35 occurred in the construction objects of capital construction, reconstruction and capital repair. However, the construction industry also referred 11 accidents resulting from road traffic (19%), 6 cases - execution of road works (10%), 5 cases in the construction of oil and gas objects (9%). The main causes of accidents are still falling from a height, the impact of moving objects, landslides and collapse items.
