Republic of Tatarstan will begin the licensing of managment companies in February.

Ministry of construction is the authority in the formation of the licensing commission in the Republic of Tatarstan. Ministry is planning to complete the work till 27th of January. The first meeting of the licensing Committee scheduled to be held on 30 January and in the begining of February will start certification of representatives of management companies in order to give licenses to organizations. Deputy Minister of construction A. Frolov informed about it during the briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers. In February Tatarstan begins licensing of management of multi-apatament houses. The Ministry of construction, architecture and housing and communal services of Tatarstan within the framework of the licensing management companies have begun to form a licensing stuff. As reported A. Frolov, licensing of management companies will be completed till 1st of April. According to S. Kraynov, there are 232 management companies must get a license in the Republic.

The license is given on the basis of the decision of the licensing Commission. It is valid only on the territory of the Republic. The price of the state duty for issuance of the license is 30 thousand rubles. Requirements for organisations applying for a license are following: registration of the company on the territory of the Russian Federation, the presence of qualifications for the management of apartment buildings , the absence of a criminal record, revoked license, or disqualification. Qualification certificate in the management company shall receive at least two people - the Director and his Deputy. The qualifying exam will be conducted in the form of computer-based testing. After receiving license to the licensed management companies will be checked by stricter licensing control. Penalties will increase significantly. In addition, a new provision - disqualification of officers for three years. According to A. Frolov, licensing is a sort of sieve through which it is planned to sort and leave only the most effective control companies in the market.
