On April 17 , speaking at a regional video-conference meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Architecture, Construction, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported on implementation of the programmes in the construction sector in Tatarstan.
He said that the 2015 major repair programme started in 962 of 999 multi-apartment houses in 42 municipalities.
Faizullin went on to report how the programme of major repair of schools, children’s recreation summer camps, cultural facilities and youth clubs is going. In particular, it is planned to repair 28 youth clubs totaling to 100 million roubles.
Under the programme of providing water supply in rural areas it is planned to build 301.3 km of water networks, drill 38 artesian walls and install 45 water towers, with the amount of financing totaling to 650 million roubles.
Irek Faizullin also reminded that 2015 was declared as the Year of parks and public gardens in Tatarstan. He said that one billion roubles was allocation from the regional budgets to finance the programme "Parks and Public Gardens".
The Minister also reported on works done at some facilities of sports infrastructure in municipal regions of the republic
