On September 6, Rustam Minnekhanov visited several parks and gardens in Kazan. One of the oldest parks of Kazan, Lyadsky garden, has been opened after reconstruction. In the framework of the parks and gardens festival, master classes in drawing, photo exhibition and pantomime were held with the accompaniment of live music throughout the day.
Acting President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, his Aide Natalia Fishman, Mayor Ilsur Metshin, and others came here to to familiarize with work done.
Lyadsky garden was founded in 1870. Today R.Minnihanovu was presented an updated concept of the garden as part of the grand opening after the reconstruction. Its total area is 2.3 hectares, the cost of reconstruction totaled to more than 55 million rubles. Construction work started in the middle of this summer. The garden is divided into thematic zones. There are playgrounds, small architectural forms. Asphalt surface has been fully replaced, trees and shrubs have been planted, free Wi-Fi has been provided.
Central columns of the entrance were also subjected to reconstruction. Here, perennial flowers and plants were planted, seating was upgraded and increased near the monument to Derzhavin. The main attraction of the garden, an old fountain, located here since pre-revolutionary times has been also repaired.
As part of the photo festival, held in the park, an art exhibition, Fotosushka, was held, already becoming traditional for Kazan. Everyone may bring their photos and catch them on a clothesline with clothespins. People might take home pictures they really liked.
The organizers gave people the opportunity to restore their old photos from family archives. By the end of the month, they will retouched 1010 vintage photos and return them to owners.
A festival, Theatrical Stage, took place on September 6 until late at night. Comers could see living statues, theatrical performances, fire show.
Also, Rustam Minnikhanov visited the parks of Sosnovaya Rosha, Molodezhny, Ecopark near Harovoe Lake, which have been opened after reconstruction in the Days of parks and gardens.
