On September 9, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of President’s Administrative Office Asgat Safarov, Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in opening of a new ice palace “Zolotaya shaiba” in Kazan.
The new palace comprises an ice rink, gym, aerobics hall, and other premises. 100 mln roubles were allocated for the construction works when Tatarstan team “Kazan dragons” won Russian National Amateur Ice Hockey Teams' Festival in 2013. Additional funds were provided by the region.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed everyone who attended the opening ceremony and said he is proud to see that ice hockey is developing in the republic. He also thanked “Kazan dragons” team and wished them to have more victories in future.
Ilsur Metshin, in his turn, mentioned that the sports complex opened in one of the most densely populated areas in the city, which will help to promote ice hockey among young people.
Today, a briefing was held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan on ensuring the safe operation of gas equipment in residential buildings in the Republic.
Damir Shaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the briefing.
The Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by Minister Marat Aizatullin, held a meeting on problematic issues in the housing and communal services sector.
The construction industry is one of the most injury–prone industries, therefore, the prevention of occupational injuries and the formation of a culture of safe work is the main task this year.
Damir Shaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on plans for the improvement of public spaces in Tatarstan in 2026 at a meeting at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
