In 2015, inflation in construction and housing and communal services of Tatarstan amounted to 10.7 and 7.1 per cent respectively

If in Russia since the beginning of 2015, inflation amounted to almost 13 percent in Tatarstan in the sphere of construction – 10.7%, housing and utilities – 7.1%. These data were provided in his report at the Board meeting of RT Ministry of construction by Minister Irek Faizullin. The event, which was held today in KSCU, was attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and first Deputy Minister of construction and housing and communal services of the Russian Federation Leonid Stavitskiy.

As emphasized I. Fayzullin, one of the main causes of inflation in the construction industry is the rising costs of building materials. The rate of inflation in the building materials market by the end of 2015 amounted to 13.5 percent.

As the Minister said, construction is one of the largest sectors of Tatarstan's economy, whose share in gross value added of the Republic is 10 percent the proportion of people employed in the industry, 7.9 per cent of the working population. On construction work in the region employs about 1.5 thousand organizations that have a certificate of admission. Furthermore, without joining the SRO is still a lot of small business organizations engaged in construction work not requiring the receipt of a certificate of admission to works.

In 2015 Tatarstan investments in construction amounted to 11.1 billion rubles, or 2.1 percent of the total volume of investments in fixed capital of Tajikistan.

In the market of housing and communal services of the Republic today there are 612 major organizations and about 700 medium and small.

Sales of services by housing organizations in 2015 increased in relation to 2014 3 per cent, the profit amounted to 875 million rubles, which is below last year's level of 20.7 per cent, said Fayzullin.
