Experimental architectural space BFFT.space opened in Kazan

Today in the educational cluster of the Kazan state architectural-building University opened the first in Russia experimental architectural space BFFT.space, or as it is called creators, "buffet". In an area of 600 square meters in the near future will focus on best practice and tools of modern engineering, architecture and urbanism.

"I congratulate you with the 50th anniversary of architectural schools of our Republic. Good that there was such a center. It can merge really talented people in order to change, to transform our cities. Everything we do in our programs and projects we do for the people," – said the Minister of construction, architecture and housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin. In the "Cafeteria" is located the Studio of experimental design, lecture hall, multipurpose exhibition space, and unclassified. Every week on the grounds of BFFT.the space will host public and specialized lectures of foreign and domestic experts. The creators of the project hope to streamline the process of creating level of quality development in the field of design and architectural thought. 

In addition to preparing students majoring in it, BFFT.space aims to become a platform of dialogue between residents and architects, creating the appearance of Kazan. Townspeople will have the opportunity to explore the profession of an architect, to look at the process of his work and training. The profession will be open to those for whom architects are to the people of the Republic.

When creating the centre, as reported in the press center of the University, has studied the experience of organization of educational spaces of a number of leading architectural schools of France, the Netherlands and Sweden.
