Putin thanked the Russian team at the EuroSkills in 2016 for the achivments

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet today with members of the national team of Russia on professional skill, winners in the team competition European Championships EuroSkills. We will remind, competition of the European championship of working professions EuroSkills-2016 were held in Gothenburg, Sweden on 1-3 December. The Russian team was the best in points and seventh in the overall standings among 28 teams. So, the students of Kazan technical school of information technology and communications Oscar Arslanov and Emil Miftakhov has won two "silver"; specialist of the Kazan company "PP "Techint"" Vadim Polyakov was the winner in one of the competencies. 

Welcoming the winners of EuroSkills 2016, Vladimir Putin congratulated them, as well as coaches and mentors team with a successful performance at the championship.

"I don't know whether you expected such a result yourself, at least you were prepared, longed for it. I think that your opponents are unlikely to expect to see you in such serious competitors. And what you in overall ranking the first place is, of course, very nice and helpful... This is a very good signal, which will certainly raise the prestige of working professions that, today, very necessary," – said the Russian leader.
