The regions were explained the conditions of participation in the priority project "Mortgage and Rental housing"

Deputy Minister of construction and housing utilities of the Russian Federation Nikita Statesin held a meeting with the Deputy heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation that received financial support for infrastructure construction in 2017 in the framework of priority project "Mortgage and Rental housing." The event, which was held in the Ministry of construction on 11 January, the representatives of the regional authorities were able to obtain clarification on the terms of co-financing and to ask questions. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of construction, architecture and housing and communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Rinatovich Gatiyatov.

Nikita Statesin recalled that in the framework of priority project "mortgage and rental housing" the provision of necessary infrastructure land plots on which will build integrated urban development projects, in 2017 the Federal budget allocated RUB 20 billion

"These funds have been distributed between the regions in the framework of the subprogramme "development of the program of development of housing construction of the subjects of the Russian Federation" the Federal target program "Housing", - he said. These funds can be allocated to subsidise interest rates on loans for construction of municipal infrastructure, as well as direct subsidies – for social and intra-transport infrastructure.

The results of the selection of projects for 2017 it is planned to provide subsidies for co-financing 66 of the housing projects in 33 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. That is 6.36 million square meters of housing will be provided by the infrastructure.

"We did a more transparent methodology for allocation of subsidies among the budgets of regions, with a rate of effectiveness of the use of subsidies depending on the housing project and the requested funds. This will allow us to estimate the number of new housing on each invested rouble from the budget", - said Nikita Stasyshyn.

He also urged the participants to consider new mechanisms and opportunities from AHML involvement of land plots for housing construction, and also include additional regional programs that would enhance the effect of the implementation of a priority project.

"In the Federal budget priorities was given to this area. And you should do the same within the regional budgets", - said the Deputy head of the Ministry of construction.
