11 April 2017 in the auditorium, it held opening of the 69th International scientific conference on problems of architecture and construction.

With a welcoming speech of the Deputy Minister of construction, architecture and housing and communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan V. N. Kudryashov. He spoke about the most important projects in the construction industry of the Republic within the framework of realization of strategy of socio-economic development of Tatarstan till 2030, the core of which is people and human capital. Also noted the importance of training of modern specialists are able to quickly and qualitatively solve the problems of the industry.

In his opening remarks, the rector Rashit Kurmangalievich noted recent achievements of the University scientists in research and practical activities, the need for active involvement of young people in science, and also outlined some problem points. The rector wished the audience a successful work, which would be evaluated not by the number of reports, and most importantly, quality content, relevance and usefulness to the architectural and construction industry of Tatarstan and Russia.

At the conference "Tatarstan in the system of international economic cooperation and transport corridors" acted as Vice-President, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, doctor of economic Sciences, Professor V. V. Khomenko. Vadim Vasilyevich noted that Russia is a country with a large territory and population, therefore the need to create a powerful line of cooperation. Tatarstan, having developed economy and external relations, located at the crossroads of three Eurasian MTC, the largest production and interregional projects may be in the process of the integration centre. The Rapporteur introduced the scheme of development of international transport corridors. In this extremely important project is the Sviyazhsk interregional multimodal logistics center.

A special unit of the three reports was devoted to the topical issue of the development of BIM technology in construction.

The conference will continue its work at the departments in the framework of the scientific sessions and will conclude on April 25 at 10 a.m. with a final plenary session in the auditorium of ksuae.
