On January 10, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inpsected houses under construction at the Salavat Kupere residential complex in Kirovsky district of Kazan.
Tatarstan President was told about main stages of construction of houses at the residential complex, works underway and dates of commissioning of multistorey apartments.
Rustam Minnikhanov called for speeding up construction of houses. He said that commissioning deadlines of a number of houses are delayed and people are dissatisfied with this situation.
Minnikhanov also noted that citizens are appealing to him through social networks with a request to pay attention to the situation with the construction of houses at the Salavat Kupere complex.
On January 9, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Government House of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that 146 educational facilities, including 29 municipal and 7 special schools, as well as 110 kindergartens, will be overhauled in Tatarstan in 2017.
Faizullin noted that 31 accidents, including 11 fatal cases, occurred in the construction industry of the republic in 2016. As compared to 2015, the number of accidents decreased by 30 per cent.
The Minister went on to report that the Inspectorate of State Construction Supervision of the republic conducted 1,685 inspections in 2016. As a result, 523 resolutions for a total amount of 19 mln 439 thousand roubles of fines were issued.
He said that it is planned to commission 2 mln 402 thousand square meters of housing under the housing construction programme in 2017.
This year 998 multi-apartment houses with a total area of 6.2 mln square meters will be overhauled. It is planned to improve living conditions for 232,776 citizens of the republic.
Moreover, it is planned to provide housing for 305 orphans, 49 large families with five and more children, 50 young families and 49 citizens under the federal targeted programme “Housing” (Chernobyl veterans, forced migrants and others).
A graduater of the Kazan state architectural-construction University Anna Budnikova (KB "Stroyproekt", Moscow), the winner of the contest "Architectural image of Russia" in 2015, took 1st place in the prestigious international competition d3 Natural Systems 2016 ("2016 Natural systems"). The competition is among the ten most important regular world of architectural competitions, is organized by public organization d3, based in New York. The first competition was held in 2009.
In 2016, the plan of commissioning of housing in the Republic of Tatarstan executed on 100,2% - 2 million of 406.5 thousand square meters of housing. This was announced today at a Republican meeting at Tatarstan Government House by Minister of construction, architecture and housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin.
In 2017, the program of housing construction in Naberezhnye Chelny is planned at the level of the past five years in the amount of 300 thousand square meters. This is a 30 apartment buildings. Among them, according to the head of the city Executive Committee Rinat Abdullin, will put three houses on the social mortgage program: 21/29 zamelekes'e in the neighborhood and two houses down the street Guards in the village of sydorivka. In total is 520 apartments. And begin to build five more houses on the social mortgage at 63 building (by order of the State housing Fund).
On December 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the exhibition center “City panorama” in Kazan to see the expositions about development of the Kazan city, its architecture and history.
The information about main areas of the exhibition center is presented on the first floor. The exposition “Kazan labyrinth” about Staro-Tatarskaya sloboda, the show “City flyover”, and the 360 panoramic video hall are located on the second floor.
The animation film about old Kazan and the history of Zilant (the winged serpent) that appeared on the Kazan coat of arms was shown to Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials.
Audio guides with headphones will be offered to visitors at the entrance.
The center will have a café and kids area, and admit 120 visitors.
On December 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited a new office building of Transneft Kama Region Oil Pipeline Company in Kazan.
The high-rise building is located in the city centre, on 20 Ershova Street.
Minnikhanov and his party looked around a territorial control station and got acquainted with its work.
Then the guests went to see offices of Chief Engineer and General Director of the Transneft Kama Region Company.
Minnikhanov also appreciated facilities of an assembly hall, looked around modern equipment in a dining area.
Tatarstan President was accompanied by Director General of Transneft Kama Region Company Robert Galiev.

On December 21, Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev held a session of the Russian Presidential Council for strategic development and priority projects. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the event. Participants of the session approved the passport of priority programme “Reform of control and supervisory activity” and priority project “Clean country”.
On December 17, at the regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that the State Construction Supervision and Inspection Service conducted 1, 536 inspections and issued 497 decrees for the sum of 18 mln 513 thousand roubles.
