Today, on 23th of March in Nizhny Novgorod, the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Privolzhsky Federal District Mikhail Babich held a meeting of the Council of the Volga Federal District. It was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin and the chief federal inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov. The topic for discussion was the development of the housing construction market in the Volga Federal District. According to Mikhail Babich, the development of housing construction, the stimulation of mortgage lending, the deployment of capital repairs of apartment buildings, the support of low-rise construction - all these measures will become the driver of the country's development for the next economic period and the basis for the program of actions to implement the president's decisions. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Men, heads of the regions of the Volga Federal District, representatives of the Federal Assembly, heads of district territorial bodies of federal executive bodies and public organizations.
