Students of KGASU became winners of the large international student competition UIA-HYP Cup 2018

According to the global architectural portal Archdaily, for six years of successful work, the UIA-HYP Cup has become one of the most influential and credible student competitions in the world, with wide influence in the field of architectural education in China and abroad. The jury consists of masters of architecture, deans of architectural faculties and directors of famous architectural schools. This year, the jury was chaired by Patrik Schumacher, head of the architectural bureau Zaha Hadid Architects. Approximately 2,000 architectural school students responded to the competition. The finalists and prize-winners of the competition were the students-architects of KGASU studios of teachers Ilnara and Rezeda Akhtyamovs. A team of 5th and 2nd year students: Irina Chikhireva, Daria Nikolaeva, Diana Kalimullina and Maria Svetovidova with the “Tower 2048” project took 3rd place with a reward of 10,000 Chinese yuan (CNY). Another team of students of the 5th, 4th, 3rd and 2nd courses - Ruslan Mannapov, Aigul Sadrtdinova, Lilya Yariyeva and Daria Butorina became the finalists of the competition.
