Representatives of the delegation of Tashkent Khokimiyat (Republic of Uzbekistan) will study the potential and experience of Tatarstan in the field of housing and communal services. This was announced by the First Deputy Khokim of Tashkent on architecture, capital construction and development of communications Davron Khidoyatov during a meeting with Deputy Minister Ildus Nasyrov. Special attention was paid to the sphere of construction, heat and power supply, water and sewer economy of the republic. Opening the meeting, Deputy Minister Ildus Nasyrov expressed the hope that the experience presented would be useful and applicable in the work, and also contribute to the solution of the set state tasks. “Housing and communal services are one of the most important branches of our republic: each of the 3.8 million (approx. 3,894,284 people) residents is its consumer. The region has come a long way: from understanding the importance of the industry to implementing large-scale programs and creating the first Regional Capital Repair Fund in the country. We became one of the first regions to embark on a comprehensive strategy to solve problems in the housing and utilities sector,” - the deputy minister said. The meeting format was interactive. The guests could not only hear information about a number of significant achievements in the construction sector, housing and communal services but also ask questions and raise existing problems. Also, a video about the programs implemented in 2017 was shown at the event. “We are always ready to share our accumulated experience with any of our colleagues,” - Ildus Nasyrov stressed. In the end, the representative of the delegation from Uzbekistan Davron Khidoyatov thanked Ildus Nasyrov and all the participants of the event for an open, meaningful conversation and expressed hope for further cooperation.
