Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the Housing and Urban Environment national project with members of the public

On February 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to hold a Presidium meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation on improving the living conditions of the population and creating a comfortable urban environment, discussed the implementation of the Housing and Urban Environment national project with members of the public.

The meeting discussed the development of urban environment, the establishment of parks and squares and the involvement of citizens in the discussion of plans for establishing public spaces. The Centre was the city’s pilot project on transformation of palaces of culture into modern cultural centres.
